Daily Itinerary

Day 1 & Day 2 – Travel to Nepal

Today you'll start your Nepal adventure to make unforgettable memories with your group. 

Day 3  – Welcome to  Kathmandu

Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you'll be greeted by your Tour Manager. After that you will visit Swyambhunath Stupa if time permits. In the evening you will have a welcome dinner with Nepalese instructors.

Day 4 –  Kathmandu- Tribhuvan University

In the morning you will have an orientation at Tribhuvan University, located just 5 km from Kathmandu's city center.   You will attend lectures there in the afternoon. You will have an evening tour of Bhaktapur Durbar Square, located 13 km east of Kathmandu, and spend the night in Bhaktapur.

Day 5 – Kathmandu

This morning you will visit WEPCO (Women's Environment Preservation Committee) and in the afternoon you will visit to Kathmandu Durbar Square. In the evening you will attend a reception by Tribhuvan University.

Day 6 –  Kathmandu-Pokhara-Dhampus Phedi

After breakfast at the guesthouse in Kathmandu, you will set out for the drive to the Annapurna Sanctuary near Pokhara. You will have a stop in Pokhara and then start your trek in Phedi and make your way to Dhampus where you will overnight at a tea house.

* Walking time this day is approximately 4 hours.

Note: There is also a direct jeep service from Pokhara to Dhampus from Pokhara, however it is weather dependent and during the month of July it is advised to walk Phedi to Dhampus due to monsoon rains.

Day 7 – Trekking Dhampus to Landruk

You will trek from Dhampus to Landruk, passing through Pothana, Deurali and Tolkha prior to reaching to Landruk. In Landruk you will study the culture and environment of this mountainous community and spend the night there in a tea house.

* Walking time this day is approximately 4 hours.

Day 8 – Trekking Landruk to Ghandruk

Today you will trek from Landruk to Ghandruk (also called Ghandrung Village). The trail is more challenging, switching between uphill and downhill. You will spend the night there in a tea house.

* Walking time this day is approximately 4 hours.

Day 9 – Ghandruk

You will study waste management in Ghandruk.

Day 10 – Ghandruk to Ghorepani

For today, you will trek from Ghandruk to Ghorepani and spend the night there in a tea house.

* Walking time this day is between 6 and 7 hours.

Day 11 – Ghorepani to Nayapool, transfer to Pokhara

Early this morning, you'll hike to Poon Hill for some of the most breathtaking views of the Himalayas. You will then start your descent, passing through Birethanti and stopping for lunch in Tirkhedhunga. Once you reach Nayapool, you will be picked up in your minibus and drive to Pokhara to check into your lakeside hotel.

* Walking time this day is approximately 7 hours.

Day 12 – Pokhara

To start the day, you'll study water quality and urbanization in Pokhara and prepare presentations in the afternoon.

Day 13 – Pokhara-Kathmandu

After breakfast, you'll take an early morning drive to Kathmandu in a private minibus. Once you arrive at your guesthouse you will have time for presentations and preparation for the final program.

Day 14 – Kathmandu

Final presentations followed by a farewell reception at Tribhuvan University.

Day 15 & 16 – Departure from Kathmandu

Today your Nepal adventure comes to an end as your start your journey back home with your group.
