Day 1 – Arrival in Beijing, China
Upon arrival in Beijing, you will be greeted at the airport by your bilingual guide. From the airport you will head to your hotel Huaqiao Travel Inn (3 star) or similar for three nights.
Note: no meals are included this day.
Day 2 – Exploring Beijing
After breakfast at the hotel you will participate in a full day city tour, which will include: Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, the Temple of Heaven. In the early evening you will enjoy a traditional Beijing duck dinner.
Day 3 – Great Wall Excursion
After breakfast at your hotel you will go on a full day excursion to the Great Wall of China, and visit the Ming Tomb seeing the Changling and Sacred Way. You will enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant. Later in the afternoon, you will return to your hotel in Beijing.
Day 4 – Beijing City Tour and Transfer to Xi’an
Today starts with breakfast at your hotel, then a half day city tour in Beijing, including the Summer Palace, the 'hutongs' tour with a pedi-cab of old Beijing residences and a walk around Houhai Lake. You will have lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, you will have a departure transfer to the airport for your afternoon flight from Beijing to Xi’an. Upon arrival you will transfer to Days Inn City Center Hotel or similar (centrally-located 3-star hotel) where you will stay for two nights. Your guide will take you to the Muslim Living Quarter for a very interesting tour. In the late afternoon you will return to your hotel in Xi’an.
Day 5 – Xi’an Full Day Tour
After breakfast at the hotel you will embark in a full day tour including the Army of Terracotta Warriors, Banpo village and the Big Goose Pagoda. In the evening you will have a 'Dumpling Banquet’ dinner at a local restaurant and see a famous Tang Dynasty Show. After the show you will return to your hotel in Xi’an.
Day 6 – Xi’an Afternoon tour and Qindao
After lunch at a local restaurant you will continue in a half-day tour to visit the Shaanxi Provincial Museum and the Old City Wall. Later, you will have a departure transfer to the airport for an afternoon flight to Qingdao. At Qindao, you will be transferred to the Jiuxiuyuan Hotel or similar (3 star).
Day 7 – Qindao Full Day Tour
Full day visit to the Zhanqiao Pier, the Badaguan area, a Catholic church and the Qingdao Beer Brewery. Later, enjoy an afternoon tour to the May Fourth Square and the Music Square.
Day 08 – Qingdao, Mount Laoshan and back to Qingdao
You will have a full day tour to the beautiful Mount Laoshan. You will return back to Qingdao in the late afternoon.
Day 9 – Qingdao to Qufu
You will have a morning transfer to the local train station for a beautiful train ride to Qufu, the hometown of the great Confucius. You will stay at the Queli hotel or similar. In the afternoon, you will visit the Confucius Forest.
Day 10 – Qufu and Taishan
Full day tour of Qufu including a drive to Taishan in the afternoon. Check into the Taian Fuhao Holiday Hotel or similar for an overnight stay.
Day 11 – Tai'an/Mount Taishan and Transfer to Beijing
Today you will visit the Dai Temple at the southern foot of Mount Taishan. The Dai Temple is the largest and best-preserved architectural complex on Mount Taishan. Dai Temple was the place where the ancient emperors came here to worship the god of Mount Tai. Its construction started from Qin and Han Dynasties. Later, go up by cable car in both directions.
Mount Taishan is the most significant of the 5 sacred peaks in China. In history, 72 Chinese emperors came here for worshiping or holding ceremonies of handing crowns. After the tour, take the cable car down to the Midway Gate to Heaven and change for the minibus back to the foot of the mountain and transfer to the train station for an evening train from Tai'an to Beijing. Upon arrival to Beijing you will be transferred to your hotel.
Day 12 – Depart Beijing
After breakfast you will have some free time to shop and explore the city.
