You'll take a guided visit through the Marrakech souks where you will discover the traditional crafts of the area, visit a Berber pharmacy and learn about natural remedies like argan oil, saffron and eucalyptus and natural cosmetics and soaps. You'll stop by a family-run carpet shop and learn how they bring traditional Berber carpets from different regions to the souks, use social media to diffuse their products and work with interior designers from around the world to stock carpets in stores and boutiques worldwide. You will also enjoy a camel ride!
Tonight you will have an unforgettable dinner at Chez Ali.
After breakfast at your hotel, your bus will pick you up from the hotel and you'll take a full day trip through the Atlas mountains and visit the well-known film locations of Aït Ben-Haddou (backdrop for the city of Yunkai in The Game of Thrones) and Ouarzazate.

After breakfast at your hotel, you'll take a guided tour of all the main sights of the city. You'll visit the 12th-century Koutoubia Mosque, the largest in Marrakech, see the intricate decorations and mosaic tiles work in the Bahia Palace, the tombs of the Saadi Dynasty, the unique blue house at the Majorelle Gardens, the Ben Youssef Madrasa and many more hidden gems in the old town.
You'll have the evening free for dinner on your own.
After breakfast at your hotel, you will check out of your hotel and drive to Casablanca. You will have time for lunch with students from ESCA, followed by a meeting with ESCA students and faculty.
Later this afternoon, you'll visit the Moroccan Jewish Museum and see their collection of religious and cultural artifacts from the long history of the largest Jewish population in a Muslim country up until the formation of Israel.
You'll also visit the American Cultural Centre and learn about their cultural exchange initiatives and English language education.
You'll arrive at your hotel, check in, and have dinner as a group.
After breakfast at your hotel, you'll participate in a lecture entitled ‘Moroccan and North Africa History’.
In the afternoon, you'll visit the headquarters of Air Liquide Maroc and learn about the international company's gas products. You'll also visit with the Air Liquide Association and learn about their job training initiatives and medical assistance and philanthropy in the local community.
After breakfast at your hotel, you'll participate in a lecture, ‘Morocco as a Hub for Africa’.
In the afternoon, you'll visit a local brokerage firm and learn more about the stock market in Morocco. You'll take a tour of the stock exchange and learn about the efforts beginning in the 1990's to modernize as the country undertook a major push in privatization.
You will have dinner as a group.
After breakfast at your hotel, you'll participate in a lecture, ‘Border Relations between Morocco and USA’.
In the afternoon, you'll visit a Coca Cola bottling plant and learn about the company's long history in the country, products and market.

After breakfast at your hotel, you'll spend the morning exploring historic Casablanca. You'll visit the Hassan II Mosque with an expert on Moorish architecture and the Art Deco colonial buildings scattered throughout the city including the Casablanca Cathedral.
You'll visit the port town of Al Jadida and explore the city and beaches. The town includes a fortified colony, Magazan, built by the Portuguese and you'll visit the cistern and church built for explorers along the route to India.
You will have the evening free for dinner on your own.
After breakfast at your hotel, you'll board your bus and drive to Rabat.
You'll visit the Oudaïa Kasbah, built during the reign of the Almohads in the 12th century to protect the city and the Bab Oudaïa, a monumental gate and example of Almohad military architecture. You'll visit the Chellah, a fortification built on the ruins of a Roman town. You'll walk through the medina and the labyrinth of souks and artisan shops and see the Place Souk el- Ghezel where Christian prisoners were once sold as slaves. You'll visit the Hassan Tower in a large unfinished mosque famous for its unfinished minaret where storks nest.
You'll arrive at your hotel, check in and enjoy dinner together.
After breakfast at your hotel, you'll have the day free to explore Rabat and go to the beach.
After breakfast at your hotel, you'll visit the Ministry of Artisanat. You'll learn about the government agency's efforts to promote the crafts sector, create jobs and help facilitate the transfer of knowledge of traditional crafts and promote apprenticeships and education.
You will enjoy a farewell group dinner this evening.
After breakfast at your hotel, your bus will pick you up and take you to the Casablanca airport for your return trip home.
