Reviews From Our Happy Theatre Educators

Theatre directors and drama teachers across the country trust Educational Travel Adventures to deliver meaningful, well organized student theatre tours. Here is what educators are saying about their experience working with our team.

I had a great experience this past March when I took my advanced Theatre kids from Houston to New York City. Brad Vogel was exceptional at helping me organize a really inventive and safe trip. They provided us with the best tour guide. I’ve traveled to New York with other companies with my students over the years but never have I had such a great experience. I would highly recommend you use this company and especially Brad Vogel. He’s intelligent and exceptional but above all he’s super kind.

Sal M

Theatre Director

I organize an annual high school theatre and art trip to New York City and we worked with ETA for the first time this year. I am so happy we found them! From the beginning, our planning contact Brad Vogel was amazing. He was quick to respond, thorough in his answers, and fabulous to work with. I felt like we became friends through all our planning emails! Our trip was wonderful and our tour guide, Jimbo, was great and very flexible with some of our last-minute requests on the day-of. We are in the planning stages for a return trip next year and we are again in the experienced hands of Educational Travel Adventures!

Shawn Marie C

Teacher

I have been proud to use ETA for more than 20 years! During that time we have traveled all over the United States and I have never had a bad experience with this company. From the easy website for students to register, excellent itinerary planning, superb knowledge about everything from the tour guides and a caring attitude from everyone. They are top notch all the way! I have life-long friends from this company. You will never go wrong selecting ETA for your tour and travel company. Bravo to this amazing company for everything they have done for me!

Student Theatre Performance Tour FAQs

Our educational performance tours are designed for drama clubs, school theatre departments, musical theatre ensembles, improv groups, and technical theatre students. Every program is customized to reflect your group’s focus and strengths.

Students may perform in workshops, community theatres, cultural exchanges, or entertainment venues such as various Walt Disney © Resorts and Universal Studios theme parks. In New York, groups can participate in Broadway workshops and perform on Broadway at the annual Arts for Autism benefit concert.

Absolutely. Educational Travel Adventures arranges workshops in acting, audition technique, musical theatre, stage combat, improvisation, and technical theatre. Many are led by professional actors, directors, or Broadway cast members, giving students valuable hands-on experience.

We recommend starting at least 9–12 months in advance, especially for Broadway or Disney experiences, which fill quickly. Early planning allows time to secure venues, workshops, and affordable travel options.

Top destinations include New York City for Broadway, Orlando for Disney and Universal Studios, Los Angeles for theatre and film connections, Chicago for improv and theatre culture, and London for its legendary West End performances.

Technical theatre students are an important part of the program. Tours often include technical theatre workshops and opportunities to learn about stage management and lighting, scenic, or costume design.

Packages usually include transportation, accommodations, group meals, performance or festival fees, sightseeing tours, workshops, educational experiences, and full on-tour support. Optional expenses might include costumes, tickets to additional shows, or extended sightseeing.

Every tour is led by an experienced ETA Tour Manager who provides 24/7 support. Accommodations and venues are carefully vetted, transportation is pre-arranged, and we follow school and district guidelines to ensure safety and peace of mind for directors and parents.
