Daily Itinerary
Today you’ll start your Seattle adventure to make unforgettable memories with your group. Upon your arrival, you’ll meet your Tour Manager and begin your trip. First, you’ll visit Pike Place Market, Seattle’s beloved public market! Within the nine acre Market historic district is a daily crafts market, which features the quality work of 225 craftspeople, and more than 200 unique owner-operated shops and services. There are also more than 80 restaurants within the Market.
Next, you’ll tour Seattle by land and water on a WWII amphibious landing craft! You’ll view all the must-see sites of Seattle including the bustling Seattle waterfront, historic Pioneer Square, the famous Pike Place Market and the heart of the downtown shopping district. Next, SPLASH into Lake Union and cruise past Gasworks Park and a breath-taking view of the Seattle skyline. Along the way, your Wacky Captain will entertain with colorful stories about the city’s history, jokes, music, and more!
After breakfast, and while visiting the Future of Flight Aviation Center, you’ll take the Boeing Backstage tour where you’ll experience a one-of-a-kind opportunity to view current jets being assembled on the Everett production line before they take to the sky.
Next, you’ll head to visit The Troll in Fremont, a mixed media colossal statue. The Troll is located under the north end of the George Washington Memorial Bridge (also known as the Aurora Bridge). It is clutching an actual Volkswagen Beetle, as if it had just swiped it from the roadway above.
After lunch, you’ll enjoy a tour of Century Link Field, home of the Seattle Seahawks!
Enjoy the view from the Seattle Great Wheel, the largest observation Ferris wheel on the West Coast that extends nearly 40 feet beyond the pier over Elliott Bay.
After breakfast this morning, you’ll visit the Pacific Science Center featuring six acres of hands-on science fun, two IMAX theaters, a Tropical Butterfly House, Live Science Stage shows, Discovery Carts, Laser Dome and much more!
You’ll return to Pike Place Market and the surrounding area to have lunch and free time for shopping.
This afternoon you’ll experience Seattle’s Underground Tour, a leisurely, guided walking tour beneath Seattle’s sidewalks and streets. As you roam the subterranean passages that once were the main roadways and first-floor storefronts of old downtown Seattle, guides will regale you with the stories our pioneers didn’t want you to hear. It’s history with a twist!
After dinner, you’ll get a taste of the Northwest’s tribal culture on the Tillicum Village Sightseeing Tour Cruise and Native American Salmon Bake and Performance. Cruise to historic Blake Island, legendary birthplace of Chief Seattle, and enjoy dinner. After your meal, sit back and enjoy a one-of-a-kind stage performance and imagery combining storytelling and live traditional Native American dance.
After breakfast, you’ll visit a museum like no other on earth. The Experience Music Project and Science Fiction Museum houses some of the world’s most legendary pop culture artifacts. Test your DJ skills in Sound Lab, take over the spotlight in On Stage, and get the scoop on the world’s most mesmerizing producers of pop culture. Hands-on experiences, iconic artifacts, and award-winning exhibitions featuring luminaries in the fields of music, literature, television, and film make EMP a destination unlike any other.
Take a 41-second elevator ride up 520 feet to the observation deck of Seattle’s signature building, the Seattle Space Needle, for spectacular views of the city and its surrounding area. Once you descend, your Seattle trip comes to a close as you begin your return trip home.
