Daily Itinerary
You’ll depart on the bus for your trip. When you arrive in Miami, you will meet your tour manager.
You’ll have free time in the South Beach neighborhood of Miami Beach. This neighborhood is trendy and quirky and just a fun place to be. Yes, it attracts the rich and famous and youthful, but it now is recognized around the world as worthy of a stay or a visit by everyone. Enjoy the beach or the historic Art Deco architecture or just go exploring on your own.
You’ll visit the Miami Dade College Museum of Art and Design housed inside the historic Freedom Tower in downtown Miami. Considered the Ellis Island of the Cuban exile, the Freedom Tower was used by the federal government in the 1960s to process refugees fleeing Fidel Castro’s regime. Part of the National Register of Historic Places, today it’s dedicated to art and design, as well as a permanent exhibit on the Cuban diaspora.
You’ll enjoy a ride on an amphibious vehicle providing a once in a lifetime journey through famous South Florida landmarks! You’ll ride on land before a dramatic splashdown into the beautiful Biscayne Bay or Intracoastal. You’ll get a close-up look at the homes of the rich and famous on Star Island and the Venice of America. This 90 minute narrated tour is sure to be one of the highlights of your trip!
After dinner, you’ll arrive at your hotel and check in.
After breakfast, you’ll board your bus and depart the hotel for the day.
You’ll visit the Perez Art Museum Miami, dedicated to international art of the 20th and 21st centuries from the perspective of the Americas, the bay front museum boasts an impressive permanent collection, as well as compelling exhibitions.
After lunch, you’ll have free time to enjoy the beach.
After dinner and bowling, you will return to your hotel for the evening.
After breakfast, you’ll check out of your rooms and board your bus for the day.
You will visit the Vizcaya Museum and Gardens. The early 20th century Vizcaya estate includes: extensive Italian Renaissance gardens; native woodland landscape; and a historic village outbuildings compound. The landscape and architecture were influenced by Veneto and Tuscan Italian Renaissance models and designed in the Mediterranean Revival architecture style, with Baroque elements.
You visit ICA Miami, a leading contemporary art museum located in the landmark Moore Building in the Miami Design District.
You’ll have free time in Miami’s Design District, a creative neighborhood dedicated to innovative fashion, design, art, architecture and dining.
You’ll board your bus and begin the return trip home. You’ll make a stop for dinner (not included) en route.
