Daily Itinerary
You’ll depart on your flight. When you arrive in Hawaii, you will meet your tour manager. Your bus will pick you up and drive to the hotel.
You’ll have free time before dinner.
After dinner at a local restaurant, you’ll return to the hotel for the evening.
You’ll awaken early to hike Diamond Head, a broad, saucer-shaped crater formed over 300,000 years ago during a volcanic explosion. This .8 mile hike takes you 560 feet up to the summit where you’ll see spectacular views of the landscape and the sea.
After your hike, you’ll return to the hotel to have breakfast.
After breakfast, you’ll board your bus and depart the hotel for the day.
You’ll visit the USS Arizona Memorial. The USS Arizona Memorial, located at Pearl Harbor in Honolulu, Hawaiʻi, marks the resting place of 1,102 of the 1,177 sailors and Marines killed on the USS Arizona during the attack on Pearl Harbor on 7 December 1941 by Japanese imperial forces and commemorates the events of that day.
You’ll have free time in the afternoon to explore on your own.
After dinner, you will return to your hotel for the evening.
After breakfast, you’ll board your bus and depart the hotel for the day.
You’ll have some fun with pineapples at the Dole Pineapple Plantation! You’ll learn the story of the pineapple in Hawai‘i and how James Drummond Dole founded his world-famous agricultural empire where Dole Plantation stands today. You’ll also see the stunning scenery of the island’s famous North Shore.
After a break for lunch, you’ll take a driving tour of the North Shore where you’ll see the famous Banzai Pipe Line and you might catch a glimpse of a turtle as you drive by their nesting areas. You’ll continue to the town of Haleiwa for lunch at one of their famous shrimp trucks and for delicious shaved ice from Matsumoto’s.
You’ll take a casual hike through a lush botanical garden featuring flora indigenous to Hawaii on your way to the magnificent Waimea Falls. The trail is 3/4 of a mile each way.
After dinner, you will return to your hotel.
After breakfast at your hotel, you’ll enjoy some well-deserved free time soaking up the sun on the iconic sands of Waikiki Beach, where turquoise waves and Diamond Head views create the perfect island backdrop. Whether students choose to swim, relax, shop, or grab a shave ice, it’s a laid-back slice of Hawaiian paradise.
You will enjoy a full Hawaiian dinner buffet and an evening filled with beauty, color, and excitement as multi-talented kane (men) and wahine (women) take you through a non-stop, action-packed journey throughout the Islands of Tahiti, Samoa, New Zealand as well as the romantic hula of Hawaii.
You will return to your hotel on the bus.
After breakfast, you’ll board your bus and depart the hotel for the day.
You’ll spend the full day on Secret Island Beach, an ideal place to relax and spend the day with lots of water sports equipment to use at your leisure. You’ll have an opportunity to participate in kayaking, canoe riding, stand-up paddle boarding, beach volleyball, table tennis, or horseshoes. Of course, you can just relax and read a book in a hammock under a swaying palm tree. Showers and changing rooms are available on Secret Island so bring a change of clothes and a towel if you’re planning to take a dip in the ocean. Your full day of activity includes a bento box lunch.
After dinner, you will return to your hotel.
After breakfast, you’ll check out of the hotel and board your bus for the day.
You’ll take hula lessons. Hula is a beautiful expression of the Hawaiian spirit and culture which, through the dance movements, tell the stories of old Hawaiʻi.
You’ll visit the Waikiki Aquarium located next to a living coral reef. The aquarium is home to thousands of aquatic plants and animals. Spend the day with fascinating underwater creatures and interact with sea life indigenous to Hawaii and the Pacific. You’ll see sharks, squid and octopus and more during your visit.
You’ll head to the airport for your return trip home.
