With more than 24 years of experience in student travel, Michelle is known for her personalized approach, creative trip planning, and commitment to making every journey unforgettable. Here’s what educators have to say.

I have worked with ETA for two of our school trips. Communication and efficiency is wonderful! Michelle, our contact, is easy to contact and is available to answer every question. I plan to continue using them in the future.

Elementary Teacher

I have had the best experience with ETA and especially Michelle!! She is very knowledgeable on trip planning, and held my hand as the group leader for two different DC 8th grade class trips. She was very responsive to my questions, she kept me grounded in the task at hand by reminded me of the next steps well in advance. Michelle has been in the travel group business for over 20 years! Her care for our group and for me personally as a leader was exceptional. ETA is very easy to work with and the parents of the participants were able to get someone on the phone within a few rings and were not be passed around! I highly recommend Educational Travel Adventures for your next group trip!!

Michelle has been amazing helping my school plan our first DC trip since the pandemic. She is readily available to answer all of my questions and has made the process very easy and user friendly. She checks in frequently and makes sure I have all of the info that I need! She’s been a lifesaver. We can’t wait for this trip!

ETA has done an outstanding job each year putting together an itinerary for our annual school trip. Michelle, who is our contact person goes above and beyond to ensure our school has the best possible trip. I highly recommend Educational Travel Adventures for any upcoming trip you may have.

Wendy L.

Special Education Teacher

I have worked closely with Michelle Gordon planning multiple trips for students at Mashpee Middle-High School to Washington DC. Michelle and the staff at ETAdventures have been a pleasure to work with. Whenever I had a question about the plans for an upcoming trip, Michelle was available to answer my call. ETAdventures tour guide,Kathy Rawlings, has also joined our group multiple times while in Washington DC and I highly recommend her.

Michael L.

Education Director

I have used Michelle Gordon with Educational Travel Adventures professionally for the past decade, traveling to Dallas, Florida, and Washington D.C. AS a band director, I appreciate the organized infrastructure that ETA has to offer for families to sign up and pay for trips independently from my own band organization, meaning I’m not handling funds myself. The reps from ETA are always just a call or text away if I have questions or need to make adjustments. Great and safe travel company- I wouldn’t travel with anyone else!

Greg M.

High School Band Director

Phenomenal customer service and excellent trips each year. Michelle has been our school’s representative for quite a while and goes above and beyond each and every time to make sure we have the best service possible. Simply amazing!

When I Joined ETA & What I Love About Working Here

I joined Educational Travel Adventures in 2007, and it has truly been the perfect place for me to combine my passion for student travel with creativity and personal connection. What I love most about working at ETA is the opportunity to design individualized experiences for each school, using a hands-on approach to ensure every trip is meaningful and unique. Being able to collaborate closely with educators and create customized programs that bring destinations to life for students is incredibly rewarding

Professional Background

I have spent over 24 years in the student travel industry, including the past 18½ years with Educational Travel Adventures, helping students explore the world both domestically and internationally. I’m passionate about creating meaningful travel experiences that allow students to learn, grow, and see the world beyond the classroom. When I’m not planning trips, I love traveling myself, spending quality time with my family, and keeping up with my three English Springer Spaniels. I still have a long travel bucket list of my own — and I’d love to help you and your group check destinations off yours. What’s on your bucket list, and how can I help bring your next travel experience to life?
