Most unexpected moment while traveling:
After only 2 days in Marrakesh, the locals started to recognize me. I even had a regular tuk tuk driver. My friends started calling me the Mayor of Marrakesh.

Window – When I fall asleep, I don’t want to be disturbed when my row mate has to get up.

One thing I hope students gain from traveling:
I hope students discover that the world is much bigger than the version of it they already know, and, at the same time, that people everywhere have more in common than we realize. Travel builds confidence, curiosity, empathy, and the understanding that there is never just one way to live a meaningful life.
