Fun Facts About Rose
Interesting Facts
I moonlight as a stand up comic. Seriously.
Favorite Place Traveled:
Bali. I celebrated a birthday there. For 2 whole weeks. Off the grid. I couldn’t believe I had to go so far to be so peaceful.
Favorite subject to study in school:
Literature. To read is to live in the abstract world. And that was and still is wonderful.
Most Recent Passport Stamp:
Portugal.
Most unexpected moment while traveling:
Cross-country walking in Wales, on my way to Holyhead from Colwyn Bay, I must have walked about 20 miles in one day on one main road and I hit a crossroads with traffic lights. In the middle of nowhere. And out of NOWHERE, a sheep herd passed through. The traffic lights were meant for us bumbling humans to give them the right of way!
Window seat or aisle seat?
Window. Then I’m safe from the meal/drinks cart.
Dream destination (not yet visited):
Japan. I NEED TO GO THERE!
Go-to travel snack:
Twizzlers. Because they are a “low-fat” snack LOL
One thing I hope students gain from traveling:
Perspective. Traveling opens doors to cultures and languages, sure. But boy, does it change your perspective on this life. And that’s a good thing!
