When I Joined ETA & What I Love About Working Here
Professional Background
I hold degrees in Fine Art and Art Education, and my professional journey has been rooted in a lifelong passion for creativity and learning. I began my career in K–12 art education, where I developed engaging curricula and fostered creative confidence in students across diverse age groups. This foundation in classroom teaching shaped my approach to leadership, communication, and program development.
I later transitioned into museum education, working in both New Jersey and Texas. In these roles, I designed and implemented educational programming that connected audiences to collections through meaningful, inquiry-based experiences. Collaborating with curators, educators, and community partners, I created interdisciplinary initiatives that broadened access to the arts and strengthened institutional outreach.
While serving as part of a one-person education team at Texas A&M Art Galleries, I expanded my expertise beyond instruction and programming into event design, marketing, and audience engagement. Managing multiple facets of educational initiatives required strategic thinking, creative problem-solving, and a strong visual sensibility. Through this experience, I discovered a passion for branding, communications, and experiential design skills that seamlessly translated into the educational travel industry.
My background spans roles as an educator, curator, artist, and designer, allowing me to approach projects with both creative vision and operational insight. I am particularly energized by opportunities to craft meaningful experiences that inspire curiosity, foster cultural understanding, and connect people to place.
Creativity has been a constant throughout my life, guiding both my professional path and personal pursuits. Whether developing curriculum, curating exhibitions, designing events, or shaping immersive travel experiences, I bring a thoughtful, audience-centered approach to every endeavor.
