Daily Itinerary
You’ll depart on the bus for your trip. When you arrive in Denver, you will meet your tour manager.
You’ll have free time at Union Station, a beloved landmark in the heart of lively Lower Downtown (Lodo). Union Station is a paragon of historic preservation and urban renewal. A celebrated destination for gathering, dining and shopping. Opened in 1881, rebuilt in 1914, and reimagined for a new era in 2014, Denver Union Station abounds with living history, inspired culture, and unforgettable moments of connection.
You’ll visit the Denver Art Museum where you’ll see a variety of international art throughout the year including traveling exhibits and displays from the museum’s permanent collection.
After dinner, you’ll arrive at your hotel in the Denver area and check in.
After breakfast, you’ll board your bus and depart the hotel for the day.
You’ll visit the Denver Museum of Nature & Science, a captivating institution dedicated to exploring the wonders of the natural world and the mysteries of science. Boasting an extensive collection of exhibits ranging from prehistoric fossils to space exploration, you’ll embark on an educational journey through time and space. With interactive displays, hands-on activities, and engaging presentations, it offers an enriching experience for everyone. You’ll also have access to the Planetarium.
After lunch, you’ll visit the Denver Zoo, a vibrant and immersive wildlife park located in City Park. It houses over 4,000 animals from around the world, representing more than 600 species. Visitors can explore diverse habitats, engage in educational experiences, and witness fascinating animal behaviors while supporting conservation efforts.
After dinner, you’ll take a walking Ghost Tour of Denver which offers an enthralling exploration of the city’s haunted history and supernatural lore. Led by knowledgeable guides, you’ll traverse through Denver’s streets, visiting notorious haunted sites and hearing chilling tales of ghostly encounters and eerie phenomena.
You will return to your hotel on the bus.
After breakfast, you’ll check out of your rooms and board your bus for the day.
You’ll take a guided tour of Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre where an expert guide brings the site to life through stories of its fascinating geology, rich cultural history, and legendary music performances. As you explore the iconic rock formations and amphitheater, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of how nature and science combine to create one of the most unique venues in the world.
You’ll have free time to shop at The 16th Street Mall, a pedestrian and transit mall, running along 16th Street in downtown Denver. It is home to over 300 locally owned/chain stores, over 50 restaurants, and the Denver Pavilions.
You’ll board your bus and begin the return trip home.
