Daily Itinerary
You’ll depart on the bus for your trip. When you arrive in Charlotte, you will meet your tour manager.
After lunch, you’ll visit the NASCAR Hall of Fame where you’ll explore the legacies of the legends of the sport while immersing yourself in the excitement, passion and history of NASCAR through ever-evolving exhibits and interactive experiences.
You’ll visit the Sullenberger Aviation Museum. The reimagined museum is located on the campus of CLT Airport. You’ll experience immersive storytelling and hands-on, interactive exhibits that will capture your imagination. The new museum galleries explore the planes, people, and industry of aviation in the Carolinas. More than 40 iconic aircraft inspire visitors to pursue their dreams of taking flight and write their own stories into the future of aviation. A highlight of the museum is a reimagined exhibition featuring US Airways Flight 1549 (better known as the ‘Miracle on the Hudson’) that was successfully landed on New York’s Hudson River.
After dinner, you’ll arrive at your hotel and check in.
After breakfast, you’ll board your bus and depart the hotel for the day.
Mint Museum Uptown houses the internationally renowned Craft + Design collection, as well as outstanding collections of American, contemporary, and European art. Designed by Machado and Silvetti Associates of Boston, the five-story, 145,000-square-foot facility combines inspiring architecture with cutting-edge exhibitions to provide visitors with unparalleled educational and cultural experiences.
You’ll have free time to enjoy Freedom Park.
After lunch, you’ll visit Discovery Place Science, a cutting-edge hub of exploration, igniting the curiosity of visitors of all ages through the fascinating realms of STEM. The Charlotte IMAX Dome Theatre, a breathtaking centerpiece within the facility, elevates the learning experience to new heights with its state-of-the-art technology and immersive, larger-than-life visuals.
You’ll discover the captivating world of illusions, perception, and optical phenomena at the Museum of Illusions! You’ll find that everything is possible at Museum of Illusions Charlotte. You’ll immerse yourself in intriguing visual, sensory, and educational experiences.
You’ll visit Frankie’s of Charlotte featuring go-carts, bumper boats, arcade games and mini golf. You’ll also enjoy dinner.
You will return to your hotel on the bus.
After breakfast, you’ll check out of your rooms and board your bus for the day.
You’ll visit Carowinds Amusement Park, the premiere entertainment and thrill ride amusement park in the Carolinas!
After a full day at the theme park, you’ll board your bus and begin the return trip home.
