Daily Itinerary

1

When you arrive in Utah, you’ll meet your tour manager and load your luggage onto the coach and begin the drive to Moab. You’ll make a stop for lunch and at the Prehistoric Museum en-route.

You’ll visit the Prehistoric Museum where you’ll view the geologic, fossil and prehistoric human records found in eastern Utah.

When you arrive in Moab, you’ll have dinner and then head to your hotel for the evening.

2

After breakfast, you’ll hike Arches National Park. Accessed only when accompanied by an experienced guide, this hike twists and turns among contorted orange-tan fins, towers, spires and arches. You’ll experience incredible views and visits to Delicate Arch and Double Arch. You’ll head back to you hotel after your hike for some relaxation.

After you’re rested, you’ll stop for a quick bite or pick up food to bring with you to have a picnic in the park. You’ll arrive back at Arches National Park to experience the amazing sunset and discover a landscape of contrasting colors, landforms and textures unlike any other in the world. Afterwards, you’ll head back to your hotel for the evening.

3

After breakfast, you’ll visit Edge of the Cedars Pueblo, a village inhabited by the ancestors of contemporary Puebloan peoples from AD 825 to 1125, and climb down a ladder to enter the 1,000-year-old kiva. View the largest collection of Ancestral Puebloan (Anasazi) pottery on display in the Four Corners area.

After lunch, you’ll visit one of the grandest – and most photographed – landmarks in the United States. Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park is a sprawling, sandy preserve that spans the border between Arizona and Utah, bathing the region in rich red hues. Dominated by crimson mesas and surreal sandstone towers – some as tall as 1,000 feet – the area is also known for dramatic, mesmerizing lighting, with the sun illuminating the towers and casting long shadows on the valley floor.

You’ll depart Monument Valley and begin your drive to Page. When you arrive in Page, you’ll stop for dinner before heading to your hotel.

4

After breakfast, you’ll take a tour of the Glen Canyon Dam. Rising 710 feet above bedrock within the steep, rust-colored sand-stone walls of Glen Canyon, the dam was constructed to harness the power of the Colorado River in order to provide for the water and power needs of millions of people in the West.

Afterwards, you’ll experience the awesome natural wonder of Upper Antelope Canyon. The tour starts by boarding a 4×4 truck that transports you comfortably to the mouth of the Antelope Canyon. Your Guide will take you on an easy journey through the canyon stopping in areas that are popular for photos and also sharing the stories about the canyon. This tour is very informative, sharing the history and geology of the canyon and lasts about 1 hour in the canyon. Nothing can describe this work of Mother Nature and experiencing this beauty will leave you breathless.

After lunch, you’ll begin your drive to the Grand Canyon to experience the sensational decorative colors and majestic natural beauty. It measures 18 miles wide, 277 miles long, and a mile deep. You’ll drive across the south rim of the canyon before heading to dinner. After dinner, you’ll head to your hotel for the evening.

5

After breakfast, you’ll spend the day in Grand Canyon National Park where you’ll have time to hike and enjoy the spectacular views of the canyon. You’ll see Mather’s Point, Grand Canyon Village, The Yavapi Observation Station and more!

You’ll continue your drive to the town of Williams where you’ll have dinner and then head to your hotel.

6

After breakfast, you’ll drive to Sedona where you’ll have a chance to explore and hike at Red Rock State Park, a 286 acre nature preserve with stunning scenery. Trails throughout the park wind through manzanita and juniper to reach the rich banks of Oak Creek. Green meadows are framed by native vegetation and hills of red rock.

After hiking Red Rock Park, you’ll have free time to explore the town of Sedona and eat on your own.
After your free time, you will drive to your hotel.

7

Your tour has concluded and you’ll begin your journey home.
