Upon arrival in D.C., you'll meet your Tour Manager and head to the most recognizable house in the world, the White House. The White House is the official residence and workplace of the President of the United States, and it was first occupied by John Adams in 1800. You'll have a chance to see the North Front of the White House from Lafayette Park where you can take photos and enjoy the view.
Next, you'll take a guided tour of the Memorials including visits to the World War II Memorial, Vietnam War Memorial, Lincoln Memorial and the Korean War Memorial.
After lunch, you'll visit the National Air & Space Museum, the largest collection of historic air and spacecraft in the world. The exhibits in the museum house artifacts including airplanes, spacecraft, missiles, rockets, engines, propellers, models, uniforms, instruments, and flight equipment.
Your final stop of the day will be a visit to the Capitol Building. Here you will see the visitors center and exhibits about the legislative branch of our government. You'll then see a short film about the Capitol before taking a guided tour into the rotunda. You day comes to a close as you begin your return trip home.
