Daily Itinerary

1

Upon arrival to Los Angeles, you’ll visit Santa Monica where you can enjoy the beach, the downtown area and the pier. Santa Monica Pier is one of California’s oldest pleasure piers. This famous pier is within walking distance of the Third Street Promenade and the newly refurbished Santa Monica Place Mall and offers one of the most spectacular sunset views in California. The Third Street Promenade is filled with shops and restaurants for you to enjoy.

2

This morning, you’ll take a guided tour of the city and see the famous Hollywood sign, Hollywood Boulevard, TCL Chinese Theatre (formerly Grauman’s and Mann’s Chinese Theatre), the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Beverly Hills, Rodeo Drive and more.

Next, you will visit the famous Farmers Market that’s been operating since July 1934! When 18 farmers and merchants parked their trucks on vacant land to sell produce to local housewives, the idea was so successful that by the Fall, the Farmers Market had stalls and shops, restaurants and even special events. Today you’ll enjoy the variety of food options as you walk through the market. You can also shop or eat in the adjacent shopping center, The Grove.

After lunch, you’ll visit the Paley Center for Media. The Center, with locations in New York and Los Angeles, leads the discussion about the cultural, creative, and social significance of television, radio, and emerging platforms for the professional community and media-interested public.

You’ll have free time on Hollywood Boulevard. You’ll be right in the center of the action at the Hollywood Walk of Fame and the Hollywood & Highland Mall. The Walk of Fame comprises more than 2,500 stars celebrating the achievements of actors, musicians, directors, producers and others. At the TCL Chinese Theatre, you can compare your hands to those of some of your favorite stars including Marylin Monroe, Carol Burnett, The Beatles, Greta Garbo, John Travolta, Morgan Freeman, Tom Hanks, Halle Berry, Brad Pitt, and more! You’ll have a chance to visit the Hollywood & Highland Mall.

After dinner you will see a show in Los Angeles.

3

This morning, you’ll take a VIP tour of Warner Brothers Studios. See “behind-the-scenes” and “into-the-scenes” of your favorite shows and movies at the world’s busiest motion picture and television studio. Guests of the Warner Bros VIP Tour are offered a rare and intimate glimpse into real Hollywood at work. This ain’t no theme park! The 2 hour 15 minute tour via carts takes you through back lot streets, sound stages, sets and craft shops. No two tours are alike and guides take you to where the action is. Walk on to the set of a hit television show, watch as Foley artists create sound effects for movies, see how sets are constructed, peruse over 10 million items in the prop department, see your favorite vehicles from film and television up close…the list goes on. And, always be on the lookout for stars as production is happening all around.

After lunch, you will visit the Hollywood Museum, the official museum of Hollywood, which has the most extensive collection of Hollywood memorabilia in the world. The museum, featuring four floors of breathtaking exhibits, is home to more than 10,000 authentic show biz treasures– one of a kind costumes, props, photographs, scripts, stars’ car collections and personal artifacts, posters, and vintage memorabilia from favorite films and TV shows. The museum also showcases the history of Hollywood and the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

You’ll then go to North Hollywood for a walking tour of this thriving arts district. You’ll begin at the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, followed by a stroll through NoHo’s artist community stopping in art galleries and vintage boutiques. Next, you’ll enjoy a top-notch theatre performance at one of NoHo’s 20+ theatres. You’ll experience great song, dance and comedy by Broadway, TV and Film artists with an opportunity to meet the cast and discuss what it takes to “make it” in show business. During the tour, you’ll dine at one of NoHo’s favorite restaurants frequented by the theatre, film and TV community.

4

After breakfast, you’ll enjoy the amusements and attractions at Universal Studios. Find a full day of action-packed entertainment all in one place: thrilling theme park rides and shows, a real working movie studio, and Los Angeles’ best shops, restaurants and cinemas at CityWalk.

You’ll have free time to explore, shop and eat at the Universal City Walk. This three-block entertainment, dining and shopping promenade will dazzle you! Options include dozens of places to eat and shop and a 19-screen movie theater.

5

This morning you’ll have free time to explore the shops in Beverly Hills. You can stroll down Rodeo Drive known throughout the world as the epicenter of luxury fashion. There are more than 100 world renowned boutiques and hotels here.

Next, you’ll visit the Getty Museum. The J. Paul Getty Museum seeks to inspire curiosity about, and enjoyment and understanding of, the visual arts by collecting, conserving, exhibiting and interpreting works of art of outstanding quality and historical importance.

After lunch your trip comes to a close as you head to your bus or the airport for your return trip home.
