6-Night Costa Rica STEM Adventure

You’ll depart on your flight. When you arrive in Costa Rica, you’ll meet your tour manager.

Your bus will pick you up and you’ll continue your trip.

After a stop for lunch, you’ll arrive at your hotel and check in into your rooms.

After dinner at a local restaurant, you’ll return to the hotel for the evening.

After breakfast, you’ll visit an agro-educational farm where you’ll learn about the challenges and joys of sustainable farming. This is an educational center and a model for sustainable agriculture that motivates farmers and gardeners from around the world to change their practices. During your tour, you’ll collect produces that later you’ll taste in a delicious lunch served at the same farm.

After lunch, you will visit an Animal Rescue Center where you will have the opportunity to learn about tropical wildlife, their dangers, and how you can help protect them.

After dinner at a local restaurant, you’ll return to your hotel for the evening.

After breakfast, you’ll hike in the community reserve to learn more about the ecology of the area. Your hike will end at a beautiful waterfall where you’ll have the opportunity to swim and refresh.

You will participate in a cooking class where you’ll learn to prepare a traditional Costa Rican dish and then share lunch as a group.

You will enjoy a soak in the hot springs heated by volcanic action. You will have dinner at the springs and stay overnight at your hotel near the Arenal Volcano.

At the springs, you will have a delicious family style home cooked dinner. After dinner, you’ll return to the hotel.

After breakfast, you’ll check out of your hotel and load your luggage into your private bus for the drive to the Pacific Coast of Costa Rica.

Along the way, you’ll make a stop to learn and taste the “Fruit of the Gods” in an interactive Chocolate Tour.

After a stop for lunch, you will arrive at your hotel and check into your rooms. The hotel is located near Manuel Antonio National Park.

You’ll have the afternoon to enjoy the beach and the sunset on the ocean.

After dinner at a local restaurant, you’ll return to the hotel for the evening.

After breakfast, you will go on a comfortable hike in Manuel Antonio National Park with a certified guide, trained in education and the exploration of Costa Rica’s biodiversity. You will explore a space consisting of a lush tropical forest preserved for over 40 years. You will also have the opportunity to explore and enjoy the secluded white sand beaches of the park.

After lunch, you’ll have the rest of the afternoon to relax at the beach and explore the souvenir stands.

After dinner at local restaurant, you’ll return to the hotel for the evening.

After breakfast, you’ll check out of your hotel room and board your bus for the day.

You’ll take look at the Tropical Forest from the perspective of birds and monkeys. You’ll travel through and above the canopy of the trees in several zip lines and platforms in a very safe adrenaline rush tour. The tour includes: 20 minute hike in the private reserve, 13 cables, and 2 rappel cables.

After lunch, you will settle into your rooms at your hotel near the Juan Santamaría International Airport.

After dinner, you’ll return to the hotel.

After breakfast, you’ll check out of your hotel room and board your bus for the day.

Today your Costa Rica adventure comes to a close as you depart for your flight back to the US.

You will arrive at the airport and check in for your flight.
