Upon arrival, you will meet your ETA tour manager and begin your trip.
A famous point of interest best known for its role in the Battle of Baltimore, Fort McHenry, successfully staved off the British invasion of the fort by 1,000 Americans that inspired Francis Scott Key, a lawyer and amateur poet, to compose the Star Spangled Banner, originally entitled Defense of Fort McHenry. You’ll have a chance to visit this historic place.
You’ll then visit the nation’s first wax museum of African-American history and culture. Featuring more than 100 life-life figures, including Martin Luther King Jr., Frederick Douglass, Nat Turner and Harriet Tubman, this is a site not to miss in this captivating city. The figures represent various periods in African-American history, from the colonial era to the present. A replica of a slave ship and an exhibit on youth complete the museum’s offerings.
Baltimore’s Inner Harbor is one of the most photographed and visited areas of the city. It has been one of the major seaports in the United States since the 1700s. You’ll enjoy some free time to explore the shops and restaurants located in the harbor.
You will enjoy a 45 minute narrated cruise on Baltimore’s Inner Harbor and nearby landmarks.
Travel to an Australian river gorge, descend through an Atlantic coral reef, explore a tropical rainforest, discover dolphins and sharks, and interact with animal experts – All at the National Aquarium in Baltimore!
Your adventure concludes as you begin the trip home.
