When I Joined ETA & What I Love About Working Here

I started working at ETA in 2009. My favorite part about working at ETA is how we support each other and work as a team. We work hard but have lots of fun too!

Professional Background

The bulk of my professional experience was working as an assistant on a trading floor for energy brokers. This was such a hectic, fast paced environment but so much fun. It was the perfect job for that time in my life and it definitely gave me the thick skin I have today. I remained in that role until the birth of my first child. For the next six years I was a stay at home mom to my two children.

When my daughter was in kindergarten I met Michael Holzer at a birthday party. I began telling him how I would love to find a job where I could balance work and family life. He called me in for an interview shortly after. Seventeen years later, with my children now 22 and 18, I am still proudly part of the ETA family.

On a flight home from Disney, a mom of twins who clearly enjoyed a few in flight beverages (no judgement) decided the best way to get them to sleep was by belting out a jazz rendition of the ABC’s. I genuinely thought I was on an episode of What Would You Do? Needless to say the twins did not fall asleep but the rest of the plane had a good laugh.
