Daily Itinerary

1

Upon arrival in Miami you will meet your Tour Manager, and head to your first thrilling adventure. You’ll enjoy a ride on an amphibious vehicle providing a once in a lifetime journey through famous South Florida landmarks! You’ll ride on land before a dramatic splashdown into the beautiful Biscayne Bay or Intracoastal. You’ll get a close-up look at the homes of the rich and famous on Star Island and the Venice of America. This 90 minute narrated tour is sure to be one of the highlights of your trip!

This afternoon you’ll have free time on Lincoln Road, a pedestrian path where you can stroll along the mall and visit the many shops or eat in one of the numerous outdoor cafes and restaurants. If you’re there on Sunday you can purchase local produce at the weekly farmers market.

2

Today you will explore the Everglades! Everglades National Park is a U.S. National Park in Florida that protects the southern 20 percent of the original Everglades.

Get ready for the ride of your life. The Gator Park Airboat Tour begins by winding down the canal, providing plenty of photo ops to catch wildlife in their natural habitat. Experienced guides offer tips to ensure you spot alligators large and small, as well as soft-shelled turtles and birds you won’t find anywhere else. And watch out for Jumbo: a favorite in these parts and an impressive 9 feet long, Jumbo likes to play host and greet Gator Park’s guests. Hold on to your hats as the Airboat picks up speed and heads for the river of grass. What looks like miles of flat land is in fact expansive wetlands, perfect for aquatic creatures. The Airboat is your only link to dry land out here, save the few tree covered islands, or hammocks, where raccoons, whitetail deer and wild boar run wild.

3

After breakfast this morning, you’ll visit the Miami Seaquarium. The Miami Seaquarium is the longest operating oceanarium in the US. The park has grown steadily over the past half century and today offers eight different marine animal shows and presentations each day and provides a fun-filled mix of exhibits, shows, attractions, food and shopping opportunities. Miami Seaquarium, which attracts more than 500,000 visitors each year, is recognized as South Florida’s most popular ‘gated’ attraction. Miami Seaquarium is a premier entertainment destination that is dedicated to education, wildlife conservation and community involvement.

This afternoon, you will visit the Patricia and Phillip Frost Museum of Science. Sitting on four acres within Downtown Miami’s waterfront Maurice A. Ferré Park, the 250,000-square-foot Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science is divided into four distinct buildings: the Aquarium, the Frost Planetarium, and the North and West Wings. This unique campus-like setting takes guests on a journey from the ocean to the Everglades, and from the human cell to outer space. It investigates life as we know it while exploring the process of science and innovation.

This evening your Miami exploration comes to a close as you depart on your return trip home.
