Daily Itinerary

Day 1
You’ll depart in the morning for your flight to Montreal. When you arrive you’ll meet your local tour manager at the airport and then head to your hotel. After a short break you’ll begin a walking tour of the city. You’ll start with a walk down St. Catherine Street through Montreal’s great shopping area and then you’ll head past McGill University. There you’ll enter Montreal’s “Under Ground City.” This network of tunnels connects shops, residences and transportation throughout this part of downtown Montreal to protect people from the harsh winter weather. You’ll exit near by the financial district and Chinatown and then continue to the Old City. There you’ll see the City Hall, Place Jacque Cartier and the Old Port. You’ll then continue in the Old City to the magnificent Notre Dame Cathedral. Admission to enter and see this impressive church is included. After the tour you’ll have some free time to explore. In the evening you’ll have dinner at a French Restaurant in the Old City and then you’ll enjoy some ice skating before heading back to your hotel.

Day 2
This morning you’ll have breakfast and then visit the Museum of Fine Arts. Canada's oldest and one of its most important art institutions, founded in 1860, the Montréal museum has been guided by a commitment to attract people from all walks of life. It has assembled one of North America's finest encyclopedic collections, totaling over 35,000 objects from around the world, from antiquity till now. After your visit you’ll take a break for lunch at a café on rue St. Denis and then you’ll continue to the Biodome. This structure houses four different Canadian ecosystems with plant and animal life from each. You’ll pass from the Laurentian Forest to the rivers and the rain forest and through the Arctic seeing tapirs, birds, fish beavers and more. In the evening you’ll have dinner and then you’ll enjoy a game of Laser Tag.

Day 3
This morning you’ll have breakfast and then take a ride to St. Joseph’s Oratory. You’ll see this popular site for religious pilgrimages. It is the largest basilica in Canada and the second largest domed basilica in the world – second to St. Peter’s Basilica in Rome. Next you’ll continue to the Park at Mont Royal where you’ll see a fantastic view of the city from the Chalet. After your visits you’ll grab a quick bite and then get on the road for the three hour drive to Quebec City. When you arrive you’ll check in and then take a short break. In the evening you’ll have dinner and then head to the toboggan track outside the Chateau Frontenac for some fun!

Day 4
This morning you’ll have breakfast and then take a walking tour in Old Quebec. During your walk, you will visit sites such as the Quebec Citadel, the Chateau Frontenac, the Quebec fortifications, the Basilica Notre-Dame, the Old Port and Place Royale. After your tour you’ll take a break for lunch (not included). In the afternoon you’ll visit the falls at Montmorency. Here you’ll see one of North America’s tallest Waterfalls and you’ll have a chance to explore. You’ll take a cable car ride to the top of the falls and then see the various views from above and below. After your visit you’ll continue to Chez Marie where you can try some of the local maple butter and fresh breads. Then you’ll return to Quebec City where you’ll have dinner and then head to your hotel.

Day 6
This morning you’ll have breakfast and then head to the ski resort of Mt. St. Anne where you’ll have the day to dogsledding and snow shoeing and/or downhill skiing. In the evening you’ll head to Sugar Shack for a traditional Quebecois dinner.

Day 7
This morning you’ll visit the 31st floor Quebec Observatory for a fantastic view of the city from its tallest building and highest point in Quebec City. After your visit you’ll check out of your hotel have some free time to shop before heading to the airport for your return trip home.
