You’ll depart in the morning for your flight to Montreal.

When you arrive you’ll meet your local tour manager at the airport and then head to your hotel. After a short break you’ll begin a walking tour of the city. You’ll start with a walk down St. Catherine Street through Montreal’s great shopping area and then you’ll head past McGill University. There you’ll enter Montreal’s Underground City. This network of tunnels connects shops, residences and transportation throughout part of downtown Montreal to protect people from the harsh winter weather. You’ll exit near the financial district and Chinatown and then continue to the Old City. There you’ll see City Hall, Place Jacque Cartier and the Old Port. You’ll then continue in the Old City to the magnificent Notre Dame Basilica. After the tour you’ll have some free time to explore.

In the evening you’ll have dinner at a French restaurant in the Old City, then enjoy some ice skating before heading back to your hotel.

2

This morning you’ll have breakfast at your hotel before heading to the Museum of Fine Arts. As Canada’s oldest and one of its most important art institutions, the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts has been guided by a commitment to attract people from all walks of life. It has assembled one of North America’s finest encyclopedic collections, totaling over 35,000 objects from around the world, from antiquity to present-day.

You’ll take a break for lunch at a café on rue St. Denis before continuing to your next destination.

After lunch you’ll visit The Biodome. This structure houses five different ecosystems from the Americas under one roof! You’ll pass from the lush, Tropical Rainforest into the marine life in the Gulf of Saint Lawrence to the Labrador Coasts and beyond.

This evening you’ll have dinner and then you’ll enjoy a game of Laser Tag before heading back to your hotel for the night.

After breakfast at your hotel, you’ll take a ride to St. Joseph’s Oratory. A popular site for religious pilgrimages, St. Joseph’s Oratory is the largest basilica in Canada and the second largest domed basilica in the world – second to St. Peter’s Basilica in Rome! Next you’ll continue to the Park at Mont Royal where you’ll see a fantastic view of the city from the Chalet.

Next you’ll grab a quick bite and get on the road for the three hour drive to Quebec City. When you arrive you’ll check into your hotel and take a short break.

In the evening you’ll have dinner and head to the toboggan track outside the Chateau Frontenac for some fun! Then you’ll return to your hotel for the night.

4

On your first morning in Quebec City you’ll have breakfast and then take a walking tour in Old Quebec. You’ll visit sites such as the Quebec Citadel, the Chateau Frontenac, the Quebec fortifications, the Basilica Notre-Dame, the Old Port and Place Royale.

After your waling tour you’ll take a break for lunch.

In the afternoon you’ll visit the Montmorency Falls, featuring one of North America’s tallest waterfalls!  You’ll take a cable car ride to the top of the falls. Afterwards you’ll continue to Chez Marie where you can try some of the local maple butter and fresh breads.

Then you’ll return to Quebec City for dinner before heading back to your hotel.

5

This morning you’ll have breakfast and head to the ski resort of Mt. St. Anne for a day of activities! Experience dog sledding and snowshoeing and/or downhill skiing.
