Daily Itinerary

Day 1 – Flight to Estonia

Today you'll start your Estonia adventure to make unforgettable memories with your group. 

Day 2 – Tallinn Arrival and City Tour

Upon arrival, you'll meet with your Tour Manager and start your Estonia journey. To start, you will take a guided walking tour through the medieval town of Tallinn. You'll learn about the history of the capital and see why the Old Town is a designated UNESCO World Heritage site. You'll see the Raekoja square, the town hall which is the oldest in the Baltic region, Nevsky Church and Toompea Castle.

Day 3 – American Chamber of Commerce in Tallinn

After breakfast, you'll visit the American Chamber of Commerce in Tallinn office to learn about their initiatives to assist American businesses in Estonia.

This afternoon, you’ll visit Enterprise Estonia, whose mission is to increase foreign investment in the country.

Day 4 – Tallinn Business/Industry Visits

In the morning, you'll visit a local manufacturing company for a tour, presentation, and Q & A session.

After lunch, you'll visit the headquarters of Skype, speak with employees and gain insight into their business.

Day 5 – Tallinn Business/Industry Visits

Today you will visit a local start-up company and a local company in the travel/tourism sector.

Day 6 – Lahemaa National Park, Rakvere Fortress, & Kohtla Mine

In the morning you'll adventure to Kohtla Mine. You'll make a stop at Lahemaa National Park to see the natural beauty of the Estonian countryside. You'll then visit the Rakvere Fortress, built by the Livonian Order, to get a taste of medieval life with demonstrations of medieval craftsmanship, sports and even an onsite cafe with medieval recipes.

This afternoon, you'll take an underground tour of Kohtla Mine and learn more about one of Estonia's most important mineral exports, oil shale, before returning to Tallinn.

Day 7 – Helsinki

Today you'll take an express ferry to Helsinki, Finland.  

You'll visit the unique blend of design and architecture of the Finnish capital, from the neo classical Helsinki Cathedral to the modern Temppeliaukio "rock church" which is carved into the rock in the heart of the city. You'll see the palatial government buildings in Senate Square and take the ferry to visit the Suomenlinna Sea Fortress.

Day 8 – Espoo Business/Industry Visits

For today, you will take the train to Espoo where you will visit Kone corporate headquarters to speak with employees and gain insight into their business.

Then you will the corporate headquarters of Nokia before taking the train back to Helsinki.

Day 9 – Helsinki Business/Industry Visits

After breakfast, you'll visit a local start-up company.

In the afternoon, you will visit a local healthcare company or, possibly, a ship manufacturer.

Day 10 – Helsinki Business/Industry Visits

You'll visit a local company in the advertising/marketing sector for a presentation and Q&A session.

After you will enjoy a free afternoon before gathering together for a farewell dinner

Day 11 – Departure

Today your adventure comes to an end as you journey back home with your group.
