Daily Itinerary

1

Upon arrival in Seattle, you will meet with your Tour Manager and head to Pike Place Market. Born in 1907, Seattle’s Pike Place Market is the granddaddy of farmers’ markets. They have flowers by the bucketful, flying fish, fresh pastries and fruit, handmade cheeses, local honey, wine, an assortment of restaurants, import goods, antiques, collectibles and lots of surprises around every corner.

In the afternoon, you will go to the Seattle Art Museum. The museum offers an outstanding permanent collection and notable special exhibits.

To end the night, you’ll have some free time to roam after dinner.

2

This morning you’ll go to The Space Needle. Enjoy a 41-second elevator ride that takes you up 520 feet to the observation deck of the Space Needle, which was built for the 1962 World’s Fair with epic views of the city.

From there you’ll go to Olympic Sculpture Park, a vibrant nine-acre green space featuring modern and contemporary sculpture. This waterfront park gives Seattle residents and visitors the opportunity to experience a variety of outdoor sculptures while enjoying panoramic views of the Olympic Mountains and Puget Sound.

After lunch, you’ll go to the Seattle Asian Art Museum. This museum features noteworthy collections of Chinese, Korean, and Southeast Asian art, and a Japanese art collection that is among the most distinguished outside of Japan. You’ll also visit the Henry Art Gallery, which is the oldest public art museum in the state. This museum serves as a catalyst for some of the most exciting new work.

In the evening, you’ll go down to Seattle Center for some free time to walk around and explore.

3

Today, you’ll begin your day at the Frye Art Museum where you will get to see collections of 19th and 20th century American, German, and French paintings.

From there, you will head to Tacoma for half the day. You will go to the Tacoma Art Museum, which displays remarkable collections of work by Northwest artists and features traveling exhibits throughout the year. The museum is host to a permanent display of glass art by Tacoma native and world-renowned artist Dale Chihuly.

You’ll then start your journey back home.
