March Down History Lane In Boston – 3 Days

Upon arrival in Boston, you will meet your tour manager and head out to experience Boston’s best.

First, you will be awe-inspired by the wonders of Blue Man Group with incredible performances, astounding music and amazing design.

Next, you will hop on a Super Duck Tour and make a grand splash into Boston Harbor with spectacular views of the Old North Church, Bunker Hill Monument, USS Constitution and the Boston skyline! You’ll spend 45 minutes on land and 45 minutes at sea while enjoying a rich narrative about Boston’s historical waterfront.

Experience a thrilling tour of Fenway Park best known to some as “America’s Most Beloved Ballpark” and the home of Red Sox Legends. Fenway is uniquely nestled in the city of Boston. Visit Pesky’s Pole and sit atop the world famous Green Monster which stands 37 feet 2 inches high overlooking leftfield. This is a place where dreams are made, traditions are celebrated and baseball is forever.

This morning, you will explore the Museum of Science, a Boston, Massachusetts landmark. With over 500 interactive exhibits, the Museum features a number of live presentations throughout the building every day, along with shows at the Charles Hayden Planetarium and the Mugar Omni IMAX theater, the only domed IMAX screen in New England. The Museum is also home to over 100 animals, many of which have been rescued and rehabilitated from various dangerous situations. In the Mugar Omni Theater, the world’s largest film format is projected onto a five-story-tall IMAX® Dome screen. It wraps audiences in larger-than-life images of flora, fauna, and faraway places. A state-of-the-art digital sound system completes the immersion effect.

Then it’s time to explore Quincy Market. Built in 1825, Quincy market was an indoor pavilion of vendor sales. The main Quincy Market building continues to be a source of food for Bostonians, though it now houses food-stalls, fast-food, and restaurants. It is a popular and busy lunchtime spot for downtown workers. In the center, surrounding the dome, is a two-story seating area.

Next, you will head to the New England Holocaust Memorial, which was inspired by a group of Holocaust survivors who found new lives in the Boston area. The memorial was built to foster reflection on the impact of bigotry and the outcomes of evil during World War II and to this day. The New England Holocaust Memorial is an outdoor space, open and accessible to the public at all times. The structure is built primarily of granite and glass, and consists of six luminous towers lit internally and gleam at night. The number six recalls the millions of Jews killed in the Holocaust; a row of memorial candles; the six main death camps; and the six years, 1939-1945, during which the infamous “Final Solution,” the most deadly phase of the Holocaust, took place.

Tonight you’ll see a performance by the Boston Symphony Orchestra.

This morning, you’ll let your imagination swim wild! The New Aquarium Experience has arrived. See the aquarium’s 21st-century transformation, featuring a spectacular new Caribbean coral reef teeming with more than 2,000 animals. The renovated 200,000 gallon Giant Ocean Tank features crystal clear views of sharks, sea turtles, stingrays and thousands of tropical fishes. Your Aquarium adventure includes bustling penguin colonies, playful seals and the smooth skin of a cownose ray gliding under your fingertips.

Your final adventure in Boston will be by naturalists on high-speed catamarans to view the ocean’s most fascinating and magnificent creatures. This area is home to several kinds of large whales, including humpback whales, finback whales, minke whales, as well as pilot whales and the critically endangered right whales.
