Flight to Estonia
Today you’ll start your Estonia adventure to make unforgettable memories with your group.
Tallinn Arrival and City Tour
Upon arrival, you will meet your Tour Manager and get settled in. You will take a guided walking tour through the medieval town of Tallinn. You’ll learn about the history of the capital and see why the Old Town is a designated UNESCO World Heritage site. You’ll see Raekoja square, the town hall (which is the oldest in the Baltic region), Nevsky Church and Toompea Castle.
American Chamber of Commerce in Tallinn
After breakfast, you’ll visit the office of the American Chamber of Commerce in Tallinn to learn about their initiatives to assist American businesses in Estonia.
This afternoon, you’ll visit Enterprise Estonia, whose mission is to increase foreign investment in the country.
Business/Industry Visits in Tallinn
To start the day, you’ll visit a local start-up company, speaking with employees and gaining insight into their business.
This afternoon, you’ll visit a local company in the travel/tourism sector.
Helsinki, Finland
After breakfast, your bus will pick you up and take you to the ferry terminal. From there you’ll take an express ferry to Helsinki, Finland.
This afternoon, you’ll see the unique blend of design and architecture of the Finnish capital, from the neoclassical Helsinki Cathedral to the modern Temppeliaukio “rock church” which is carved into the rock in the heart of the city. You’ll see the palatial government buildings in Senate Square and take a ferry to visit the Suomenlinna Sea Fortress.

This morning, you’ll have the day free to explore Helsinki before returning to Tallinn in the early evening.

In the morning, you’ll visit a local manufacturing company for a tour, presentation, and Q & A session.
This afternoon, you’ll visit the headquarters of Skype, speak with employees and gain insight into their business.

You’ll visit a local healthcare company and a local hotel to learn about their business practices.
Lahemaa National Park, Rakvere Fortress, & Kohtla Mine
This morning, your bus will pick you up and you’ll head towards Kohtla Mine. You’ll make a stop at Lahemaa National Park to see the natural beauty of the Estonian countryside. You’ll then visit the Rakvere Fortress, built by the Livonian Order, to get a taste of medieval life with demonstrations of medieval craftsmanship, sports and even an onsite cafe with medieval recipes.
Then you’ll take an underground tour of Kohtla Mine and learn more about one of Estonia’s most important mineral exports, oil shale, before returning to Tallinn.

You will enjoy a free afternoon before gathering together for a farewell dinner
