ETA COVID Cancellation Policy

I want to plan my next trip but what if I have to cancel due to COVID restrictions? This is the question on everyone’s mind! After being stuck at home for such a long stretch and with optimism about an end to the pandemic on the horizon, many of us are ready for the opportunity to travel with our group. But when it will really be over? And if and when it finally does end, will it come back? With these uncertainties on everyone’s mind, it’s difficult to commit to trip that might have to be canceled.

We understand your dilemma and have implemented cancellation and change policies to put your mind at ease! Here’s how booking with Educational Travel Adventures will give you the peace of mind you need to book your next trip:

• If your entire group needs to cancel or reschedule due to state or federal government restrictions related to COVID, the following applies:
  • 90 days prior to departure: trip price fully refundable
    • If there are any exceptions where a supplier requires non-refundable payments prior to 90 days, we will discuss this with you at the time any payments are due. Together, we’ll make a decision on the viability of the trip running and decide about moving forward.
  • 90 days prior to departure: trip price fully refundable
• Our standard policies apply for individuals that cancel however optional trip cancellation insurance will provide possible refunds
• Trips can generally be rescheduled for entire groups without any charges. New dates are subject to availability. If there are any suppliers that have restrictions on rescheduling, we will advise you of this before making any changes.

Trip Cancellation Insurance – You Need This!

For ultimate peace of mind, we STRONGLY recommend that everyone in your group purchases trip cancellation insurance. With insurance, the entire group or individuals can cancel for any reason (including COVID) up to 48 hours prior to departure and receive 70% of their money back. The insurance also provides coverage for cancellations due to individuals contracting COVID as well as coverage for quarantine requirements of sick individuals.
