Day 1
Upon arrival, you will meet your tour guide and go to Arlington National Cemetery where you will meet your tour guide. As well as, see the Changing of the Guard, Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, the Challenger Memorial, and the Kennedy Gravesites. Next, you will go over to the Iwo Jima Memorial. You will then have lunch at the Ronald Reagan International Trade Center. Following lunch, your next stop will be outside the White House for pictures. From there, you will go over to Ford’s Theatre and Petersen House where Abraham Lincoln was shot and later passed away (Petersen House will be open inside if renovations are completed). Next, you will have dinner. Following dinner, you will visit the Franklin D. Roosevelt Memorial, Martin Luther King, Jr. National Memorial and Thomas Jefferson Memorial. Then, you will head to your hotel for check in.

Day 2
This morning you will have breakfast at the hotel and board the bus. Your first stop will be at Mount Vernon, home of George Washington. You will see his house, the gardens, and the plantation. You will then head down Embassy Row, passing by the National Cathedral, and then stopping at the National Zoo to see the pandas. You will have lunch at the Old Post Office. Following lunch, you will go over to the National Archives where you will see many federal government documents including the Declaration of Independence. The next stop will be the Holocaust Museum. You will then have dinner. After dinner, you will see the Vietnam Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, Korean Memorial and the WWII Memorial. You will then go to the hotel for the evening.

Day 3
This morning you will have breakfast at the hotel. You will check out and load your bags onto the bus. You will begin your final day of touring at the Supreme Court and see a lecture (if available). You will then go to the Library of Congress where you will see one of Washington’s most ornate and magnificent buildings. Then, you will take the tunnel that goes under the streets of Washington, DC over to the Capitol Building and go into the visitor’s center. You will then take a tour of the Capitol Building and have lunch in the new cafeteria. Following lunch, you will head to the Smithsonian National Air & Space Museum to visit the exhibits. After that, you will have the rest of the afternoon to enjoy the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History and the American History Museum. Then, you will have dinner. Following dinner, you will then board the bus and depart for your overnight drive home.

Day 1
You will arrive in Washington, DC and meet your tour guide. You will start by going to Mount Vernon, home of George Washington. You will get to see the house, gardens and plantation. You will then have lunch. Following lunch, you will go to Arlington National Cemetery. You will get to see the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, the Changing of the Guards, the Kennedy Gravesites and the Challenger Memorial. From there, you will go over to the Iwo Jima Memorial. After that, you will have dinner at Pentagon City Mall (or similar). After dinner, you will go over to the 9/11 Memorial at the Pentagon and the Air Force Memorial. Then, you will go to the hotel and check in for the evening.

Day 2
This morning you will have an early breakfast at the hotel and begin your day. You will get on the Metro and head into downtown Washington, DC for Inauguration 2013. Today, you will spend the day enjoying Inauguration Festivities. You can also get to see the Inaugural Parade. You will have lunch while in Washington, DC. After the Inauguration concludes, you will go back to the hotel and get ready for the Inaugural Ball where you will have dinner and dancing.

Day 3
You will have breakfast and check out of the hotel. You will load your bags on the bus and begin your final day of touring. You will begin your final day by going to the Thomas Jefferson Memorial, Franklin D. Roosevelt Memorial and the New Martin Luther King Jr, National Memorial. From there, you will go over to the Vietnam Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, Korean Memorial and the WWII Memorial. After that, you will stop by the White House for a picture stop. Next, you will get to spend the afternoon going to the different Smithsonian Museums. You will start at the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum where you will get to have lunch and view the exhibits. While you are there, you will have time to see his home, plantation and the gardens of our first President. You will then go over to the Arlington National Cemetery. You will get to see the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, the Changing of the Guards, the Kennedy Gravesites and the Challenger Memorial. From there, you will go over to the Iwo Jima Memorial. Next, you will go the 9/11 Memorial at the Pentagon and the Air Force Memorial. After that, you will go to dinner at Pentagon City Mall.  Following dinner, you will go back to the hotel for the evening.

Day 3

Monday, July 15th, 2013
You will have breakfast and check out of the hotel. You will load your bags on the bus and depart for West Virginia. You will make a stop at the Exhibition Coal Mine in Beckley, West Virginia. You will get to travel 1500 feet below ground under the supervision of an experienced coal miner, riding authentic “man cars”. Stops throughout the tour explore the history of low-seam mining from hand-holding days to modern day. You’ll also get to see the lovingly restored Coal Company House, Superintendent's Home, Pemberton Coal Camp Church, and the Helen Coal Camp School. This will give you a true representation of early 20th century coal camp life. In the evening, you will be dropped off at the Summit Bechtel Reserve for the National Boy Scout Jamboree.

Friday – June 8th
Today you will fly to Washington, DC and meet your guide at baggage claim when you arrive.  You will then head into the downtown area where you’ll have time to visit the Smithsonian Museums.  You’ll visit the National Air & Space Museum, the Museum of the American Indian, the Museum of American History and the Museum of Natural History.  After your museum visits you’ll have dinner at the Old Post Office Pavilion.  In the evening you’ll see the Juliette Gordon Low (founder of the Girl Scouts) commemorative medallion. Former President Bush dedicated the medallion in 2005 and it is located on the 'Extra Mile Points of Light Volunteer Pathway' to Highlight Role of Service Movement in American Life. The Extra Mile Points of Light Volunteer Pathway tells the stories of great Americans who, through their caring and personal sacrifice, built their dreams into great movements that have created enduring change in America.  Net you’ll continue to the Vietnam Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, Korean Memorial and the WWII Memorial.   Then you’ll head to the hotel and check in for the evening.  
Saturday – June 9th

This morning you’ll have breakfast at your hotel and then head to the memorials.  You’ll visit the Martin Luther King Jr. National Memorial, Franklin D Roosevelt Memorial and the Thomas Jefferson Memorial. You will then have lunch and go over to the Girl Scouts 100th Anniversary Sing-A-Long at the base of the Washington Monument where over 200,000 girl scouts are expected.  The event will take place between noon and 4:00 PM.  After the event, you’ll walk to the White House for a picture stop.  The bus will then pick you up and you’ll head to dinner. This evening you’ll enjoy dinner and dancing and spectacular views as you cruise along the Potomac River.  After the cruise you will return to the hotel for the evening.   
Sunday, June 10th

This morning you will have breakfast and then check out of your rooms.  You’ll board your bus and head to Arlington, National Cemetery.  There you will the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, the  changing of the guard, the Kennedy Gravesites and the Challenger Memorial.  Next you will visit the 9/11 Memorial at the Pentagon and the Air Force Memorial. You will then have lunch. In the late afternoon you’ll depart for home.

Upon arrival, you will meet your tour guide and check in to the hotel for the evening.


Friday - June 8th, 2012

You will have breakfast at the hotel and begin your day. You will go over to the Arlington National Cemetery where you will get to see the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, the Changing of the Guards, the Kennedy Gravesites and the Challenger Memorial. From there, you will go over to the Smithsonian Air & Space Museum where you will visit the exhibits and have lunch. You will get to spend the rest of the afternoon visiting the different Smithsonian Museums of your choice (Smithsonian Museum of American Indian, Smithsonian Museum of Natural History and Smithsonian Museum of American History). You will then go to dinner. Following dinner, you will visit the Vietnam Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, Korean Memorial and the WWII Memorial. From there, you will go over to the 9/11 Memorial at the Pentagon and the Air Force Memorial.  You will then return back to the hotel for the evening.


Saturday - June 9th, 2012
You will have breakfast at the hotel and begin your day. You will first go over to Lafayette Park where you will have a picture stop at the White House. From there, you will go over to the Juliette Gordon Low (Founder of the Girl Scouts) Commemorative Medallion that is part of the Extra Mile Points of Light Volunteer Pathway. Juliette Gordon Low is one of only 20 honorees whose commemorative medallions were unveiled in 2005. You will then have lunch and go over to the Girl Scouts 100th Anniversary Sing-A-Long at the base of the Washington Monument where there is expected to be 200,000 girls. You will be able to enjoy the activities. The bus will then pick you up and go to dinner. Then, you will go on a DJ Dinner & Dance Cruise down the Potomac. After the cruise, you will return to the hotel for the evening.


Sunday - June 10th, 2012
You will have breakfast and check out of the hotel. You will load your bags on the bus and begin your final day of touring. You will start by going to the Martin Luther King, Jr. National Memorial, Franklin D. Roosevelt Memorial and the Thomas Jefferson Memorial. From there, you will go to the National Zoo where you have lunch and get to see the pandas and other animals. You will then board the bus and depart for home.
