Day 1
Upon arrival, you’ll meet your local tour manager at your hotel and you’ll store your luggage. Then you’ll begin some sightseeing. First you’ll head down to the CN Tower for a fantastic view from the tallest free standing structure in North America. Then you’ll continue to Roger’s Stadium for a tour of this fascinating sports arena. It has a retractable roof that slides open during the summer months. After the tour you’ll head to Eaton Center for a lunch break and some shopping time. Then you’ll head to your hotel, check into your rooms and have a break before dinner. In the evening you’ll enjoy dinner at the Hard Rock Café and then you’ll return to your hotel.
Day 2
This morning you’ll have breakfast and then begin a walking tour in Chinatown. You’ll start off the intersection of Spadina and Dundas which is the center of the main downtown Chinese neighborhood. During your walk you’ll see Chinese supermarkets, fruit & vegetable markets, bakeries, craft stores and music stores. During lunch time you’ll enjoy Dim Sum at an authentic Chinese restaurant. In the afternoon you’ll explore the ethnically diverse Kensington Market adjacent to Chinatown. Here you’ll find food and crafts from Europe, the Caribbean, the Middle East, South America and Asia. In the evening you’ll have dinner and then return to your hotel.
Day 3
This morning you’ll take a drive to Niagara Falls. It’s just a 90 minute drive from Toronto. When you arrive you’ll see the Horseshoe falls from the Canadian side and then you’ll get an interesting look as you take the “Journey Behind the Falls” through tunnels that were created in the 1800’s. After your visit you’ll continue to the IMAX Theatre to see an IMAX film about this amazing natural phenomenon. Next you’ll take a break for lunch on Clifton Hill. You can also wander into one of the wax museums, mazes or haunted houses. After your free time you’ll head back to Toronto where you’ll enjoy dinner in Chinatown and then head back to your hotel.
Day 4
This morning you’ll head downtown for a visit to the Royal Ontario Museum. After your visit you’ll have some free time to explore Bloor Street and Yorkville where there are numerous shops. You may also visit the University of Toronto Campus located right in the same area. In the afternoon you’ll have free time. In the evening you’ll board your coach for the overnight drive back home.
